The Advantech PPC-415W-PD3A is a 15.6-inch fanless industrial panel PC based on the 13th Generation Intel Core i3-1315URE processor. Designed as the Core i3 configuration within the PPC-415W family, it provides a practical computing platform for HMI, machine control, production monitoring and industrial visualisation applications where modern connectivity and touchscreen functionality are required without the processing capability of the higher Core i5 and Core i7 variants. The Intel Core i3-1315URE provides six processing cores, operates from a 1.20GHz base frequency and can reach up to 4.5GHz with Turbo, while offering 10MB Intel Smart Cache.
The system incorporates a 15.6-inch Full HD TFT LCD with a native 1920 x 1080 resolution and 450cd/m² luminance. Its projected capacitive touchscreen supports multi-touch operation and provides 88% ±2% light transmission. A true-flat front surface and anti-glare coating support clear operator interaction in industrial installations, while the IP66-compliant front panel provides additional protection against environmental ingress. The display also offers wide viewing angles and a minimum backlight lifetime of 50,000 hours.
For system configuration, the PPC-415W-PD3A provides two DDR5 4800 SODIMM sockets supporting up to 32GB per socket. Storage can be added through a 2.5-inch SATA bay or an M.2 2242/2280 M-Key slot supporting SATA and NVMe PCIe x4 devices. This allows memory and storage capacity to be tailored around the intended application rather than restricting the platform to a fixed specification.
Networking is provided through two Intel I226LM Ethernet controllers supporting speeds up to 2.5GbE, with Time-Sensitive Networking support adding functionality for deterministic industrial networking applications. Connectivity also includes USB 3.2, USB 2.0, HDMI, DisplayPort and multiple serial interfaces, including an isolated RS-422/485 port. PCIe x4 expansion, optional PCI support and an M.2 E-Key slot provide additional flexibility for fieldbus, wireless and application-specific hardware.
A wide 9-32VDC input, TPM 2.0 security, fanless cooling and -20°C to +60°C operating range further support deployment in industrial environments. The PPC-415W-PD3A is therefore a suitable choice where the features and connectivity of the PPC-415W platform are required with the more cost-effective Intel Core i3 processor option. The ordering information specifically identifies the PD3A as the Core i3-1315URE projected-capacitive touchscreen configuration.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
