The Advantech PPC-415W-PD5A is a 15.6-inch fanless industrial panel PC featuring the 13th Generation Intel Core i5-1345URE processor. Positioned between the Core i3 and Core i7 models within the PPC-415W family, the PD5A provides a balanced combination of processing capability, industrial connectivity and expansion for applications including machine control, HMI, production management and factory automation. The Intel Core i5-1345URE incorporates ten processor cores, operates at a 1.40GHz base frequency and can reach up to 4.6GHz with Turbo, supported by 12MB of Intel Smart Cache.
Operator interaction is provided through a 15.6-inch Full HD TFT LCD with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 450cd/m² luminance and wide 89-degree viewing angles in all directions. The true-flat display uses projected capacitive multi-touch technology and incorporates an anti-glare coating for improved usability. An IP66-compliant front panel provides protection against dust and water ingress when correctly panel mounted, while the die-cast aluminium alloy front bezel contributes to the system's industrial construction.
The PPC-415W-PD5A provides two DDR5 4800 SODIMM sockets, supporting up to 32GB of memory per socket for a maximum platform capacity of 64GB. Storage options include a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay and an M.2 2242/2280 M-Key interface supporting SATA or NVMe PCIe x4 storage. The system also supports SATA RAID according to the manufacturer's specification.
Connectivity is particularly suited to industrial automation environments. Two Intel I226LM Ethernet controllers provide network speeds up to 2.5GbE and support Time-Sensitive Networking technology. Additional I/O includes three USB 3.2 ports, one USB 2.0 interface, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.4a and multiple serial connections. An isolated RS-422/485 interface is provided as standard, while additional RS-232 or GPIO connectivity can be added through an optional module.
For additional hardware integration, the PPC-415W platform offers PCIe x4 expansion with optional PCI support, alongside an M.2 2230 E-Key interface for wireless cards. TPM 2.0 hardware security, a 9-32VDC wide-range input and a -20°C to +60°C operating temperature further enhance suitability for industrial deployment. The PD5A ordering code specifically identifies this configuration as the Intel Core i5-1345URE version of the PPC-415W.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
