The Advantech PPC-421W-PD3A is a 21.5-inch fanless industrial panel PC powered by the 13th Generation Intel Core i3-1315URE processor. As the Core i3 configuration within the PPC-421W family, it provides a capable platform for HMI, production monitoring, machine control and industrial visualisation applications where a large touchscreen interface and modern industrial connectivity are required. The Intel Core i3-1315URE features six processor cores, operates from a 1.20GHz base frequency and can reach up to 4.5GHz with Turbo, while providing 10MB Intel Smart Cache.
The integrated 21.5-inch display provides Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and 350cd/m² luminance, supporting clear display of process information, machine interfaces and production data. Its projected capacitive touchscreen offers multi-touch operation, while the true-flat front surface and anti-glare coating support practical use in industrial environments. Wide viewing angles help maintain screen visibility from different operator positions, and the IP66-compliant front panel provides additional protection against environmental ingress when correctly installed.
The PPC-421W-PD3A supports two DDR5 4800 SODIMM sockets with up to 32GB per socket, giving the platform a maximum memory capacity of 64GB. Storage options include two 2.5-inch SATA drive bays as well as an M.2 2242/2280 M-Key slot supporting SATA or NVMe PCIe x4 devices. This enables the system to be configured around the storage and memory requirements of the intended application rather than being limited to a fixed factory specification.
Network connectivity is provided by two Intel I226LM controllers supporting speeds of up to 2.5GbE and Time-Sensitive Networking. Other interfaces include three USB 3.2 ports, one USB 2.0 port, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.4a and multiple serial ports. An isolated RS-422/485 interface provides support for industrial serial equipment, while additional RS-232 or GPIO connectivity is available through an optional module.
Expansion is provided through PCIe x4, with optional PCI support, while an M.2 E-Key slot can accommodate a wireless module. TPM 2.0 hardware security, a wide 9-32VDC power input, fanless cooling and a -20°C to +60°C operating range further support industrial deployment. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
