The Advantech PPC-421W-PD7A is the Intel Core i7 configuration of the PPC-421W 21.5-inch fanless industrial panel PC range. Powered by a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-1365URE processor, it is designed for more demanding HMI, automation, machine control and industrial computing workloads that benefit from increased processor performance while retaining the large-format touchscreen, connectivity and expansion capabilities of the wider PPC-421W platform. The Core i7-1365URE provides ten processor cores, a 1.70GHz base frequency and Turbo operation up to 4.9GHz, together with 12MB Intel Smart Cache.
A 21.5-inch Full HD TFT LCD provides a native 1920 x 1080 resolution, 350cd/m² luminance and wide viewing angles for industrial visualisation and control applications. The projected capacitive touchscreen supports multi-touch interaction, while the anti-glare treatment and true-flat design provide an operator-friendly interface. The front panel carries an IP66 rating, and the industrial enclosure combines a die-cast aluminium alloy front bezel with a PC+ABS rear housing. Panel mounting and VESA 75/100 mounting options provide flexibility when integrating the system into machinery, control cabinets or operator stations.
Memory expansion is provided through two DDR5 4800 SODIMM sockets supporting up to 32GB each. The PPC-421W-PD7A also offers substantial storage flexibility with two 2.5-inch SATA bays and an M.2 2242/2280 M-Key storage interface supporting either SATA or NVMe PCIe x4 devices.
Dual Intel I226LM Ethernet interfaces provide network speeds up to 2.5GbE and support Time-Sensitive Networking functionality. Additional connectivity includes three USB 3.2 ports, USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.4a and multiple serial interfaces. One isolated RS-422/485 port is provided for industrial communications, while optional additional serial or GPIO connectivity can be added where required.
For application-specific expansion, the PPC-421W supports PCIe x4 or optional PCI cards, along with an M.2 E-Key interface for wireless connectivity. TPM 2.0 hardware security is integrated, and the wide 9-32VDC input provides flexibility for industrial power environments. The system is specified for operation from -20°C to +60°C and also carries industrial shock and vibration specifications.
As the Intel Core i7 variant in the ordering table, the PPC-421W-PD7A provides the highest processor performance available within the PPC-421W family while retaining the same industrial touchscreen, connectivity and expansion architecture.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
