The TCC-80/80I media converters provide complete signal conversion between RS-232 and RS-422/485 without requiring an external power source. The converters support both half-duplex 2-wire RS-485 and full-duplex 4-wire RS-422/485 either of which can be converted between RS-232’s TxD and RxD lines. Automatic data direction control is provided for RS-485, the RS-485 driver is enabled automatically when the circuitry senses the TxD output from the RS-232 signal. meaning no programming effort is required to control the transmission direction of the RS-485 signal. Furthermore, an external 5V to 12V power input can be added to increase the range the RS-422/485 signal can travel. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
