The TN-5510A-2GTXBP-WV-CT-T is a conformal-coated managed Ethernet switch engineered for demanding railway environments where uninterrupted connectivity is essential. It offers 10 ports in total, with 8 Fast Ethernet M12 ports and 2 Gigabit copper uplinks, featuring a bypass relay for continuous link availability during power loss.
Conformal coating provides additional protection against moisture, dust, and corrosive atmospheres, extending long-term reliability. Dual 24–110 VDC redundant inputs ensure stable operation across global railway power standards. The switch is housed in an IP54-rated enclosure with rugged M12 connectors to resist vibration and shock, operating from -40 to 75°C.
Resiliency is achieved through Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy with recovery under 20 ms for 250 nodes, plus standards-based RSTP/MSTP. Cybersecurity features include IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, ACLs, and SNMPv3. Traffic control functions such as VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and link aggregation ensure predictable data handling.
Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2, the TN-5510A-2GTXBP-WV-CT-T is suited to rolling stock and wayside deployments that require resilient Gigabit uplinks, redundant bypass protection, and enhanced environmental durability.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
