The AIMB-279QF-LDB1U is a Q670E Mini-ITX motherboard variant in the AIMB-279 B1 family, designed for compact industrial applications that require high-performance processor support, flexible display output and modern expansion interfaces. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors, as well as Intel Core 200S processors, giving system builders a broad CPU selection for embedded computing, automation, edge systems and industrial visualisation platforms.
This model uses the Intel Q670E chipset and supports dual-channel DDR5 non-ECC SODIMM memory up to 5600 MHz. With two memory sockets and capacity up to 96GB, it provides a capable memory platform for demanding embedded software, industrial monitoring, data processing and multi-display workloads. The board measures 170 mm x 170 mm, making it suitable for Mini-ITX chassis and space-limited installations.
The AIMB-279QF-LDB1U is the LVDS-focused U variant listed in the ordering table. It provides one HDMI output, two DisplayPort outputs and an LVDS/eDP interface shown as 1/(1), indicating LVDS as the primary configuration with eDP supported as a BOM option. With Q670E support for up to four independent displays, this board is a strong fit for HMI, embedded panel, kiosk, monitoring and digital signage systems that need internal LVDS panel support alongside external display outputs.
Expansion is provided through one PCIe x16 Gen4 slot for add-in cards such as a discrete graphics card, capture card, storage controller or specialist industrial interface. Storage and module expansion include one M.2 M-Key socket, one M.2 E-Key socket and two SATA III ports. This gives system designers options for SSD storage, wireless connectivity and additional SATA drives.
Connectivity includes one Intel i219 GbE LAN and one Intel i226 2.5GbE LAN, plus four USB 3.2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, audio and 8-bit GPIO. The board also includes TPM and AMP support, watchdog timer, WISE-DeviceOn and embedded API support. With 12V to 24V input through ATX 8-pin connector and 5VSB header, Windows 11 and Ubuntu support, and 0°C to 60°C operation depending on CPU and cooling configuration, the AIMB-279QF-LDB1U is a compact and capable Q670E platform for LVDS-based industrial embedded systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
