The Moxa DA-920E-X08-H is a fanless 2U industrial rackmount server designed for power automation, substation, railway and other critical infrastructure applications. It combines an eight-core Intel Xeon D-1834 processor with industrial networking, storage, expansion and remote management capabilities in a platform compliant with IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 and IEC 60255.
The system provides four DDR4 RDIMM/UDIMM memory slots supporting a maximum of 256GB ECC memory. Each slot supports up to 64GB and speeds of up to 2666 MHz, providing the memory capacity required for demanding industrial server and virtualisation workloads.
Storage expansion consists of four 2.5-inch SATA SSD bays plus an M.2 M-key 2280 socket supporting NVMe PCIe Gen 3 x2 storage. Intel RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 functionality is supported across the SSD bays, allowing storage configurations to be selected around performance, capacity and resilience requirements.
Network connectivity includes three auto-sensing 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports and two 10/100/1000 Mbps ports. One of the latter provides dedicated management connectivity, while out-of-band administration is available through the integrated BMC using IPMI, Redfish or the web interface.
Two 2 kV isolated serial ports can be software configured for RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 2-wire or RS-485 4-wire communication. Expansion is provided through one PCIe Gen 4 x16, one PCIe Gen 3 x8 and one PCIe Gen 3 x4 low-profile slot. Four USB 3.2 Gen 1 interfaces, DisplayPort and HDMI are also included.
The defining characteristic of the DA-920E-X08-H is its supplied single DA-PWR-200-HV hot-swappable power module. This accepts nominal 100 to 240 VAC/VDC input and operates across a 90 to 264 VAC/VDC range.
The server operates from -25 to 55°C and is also EN 50121-4 compliant for railway wayside applications. TPM 2.0 and UEFI Secure Boot provide additional security functionality for critical industrial deployments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
