For ST fibre networks in harsh environments, the EDS-208A-M-ST-T offers seven 10/100 RJ45 ports and one ST multi-mode port with an extended -40°C to +75°C operating range. It’s built for roadside, rail wayside, and outdoor automation where unmanaged simplicity and ruggedness are required.
Broadcast storm protection is DIP-switch selectable, and redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs (9.6–60 VDC range) with overload and reverse polarity protection support continuous service. The IP30 aluminium housing, DIN-rail mounting, and compact footprint make integration straightforward.
Backed by hazardous, transport, and maritime approvals, plus strong EMI/EMC immunity and shock/vibration resistance, it provides dependable copper-to-fibre bridging across demanding sites.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
