The EDS-208A-MM-SC offers higher fibre density with six 10/100 RJ45 ports and two 100BaseFX SC multi-mode ports for dual fibre runs (each up to ~4 km). Use it to connect multiple local devices while providing two fibre spurs or a resilient path to backbone infrastructure.
A compact IP30 aluminium enclosure supports DIN-rail and optional wall mounting. Stability features include DIP-switch controlled broadcast storm protection to keep traffic flowing during bursts. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC range) plus overload and reverse polarity protection increase uptime.
The model is certified for hazardous locations, transportation, and maritime use, making it suitable for critical infrastructure. Strong EMC immunity, shock and vibration resistance, and 100% burn-in testing underpin reliable, long-term operation.
Operating from -10°C to +60°C, the EDS-208A-MM-SC is well-matched to factory, process, and building automation networks needing two multi-mode SC links without moving to a managed layer.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
