The EDS-516A-MM-SC-T wide-temperature version delivers all the features of the SC fibre model with reliable operation in environments from -40 to +75 °C. With 14 copper ports and 2x MM-SC fibre reaching up to 4 km, it is well-suited to outdoor cabinets, transport infrastructure, and process sites with wide ambient swings.
High availability is ensured with Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery) and STP/RSTP/MSTP for multi-vendor compatibility. Performance tools include VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, bandwidth management, RMON, and port mirroring. Protocols EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET provide OT integration, while web GUI, CLI, Telnet/serial console, and MXstudio simplify management. ABC-01 allows quick field replacement or restoration.
Hardware features include dual redundant 24 VDC (12–45 VDC operating) with reverse polarity/over-current protection and an alarm relay. The IP30 housing mounts to DIN-rail or wall, tested for shock, vibration and freefall to IEC standards, and certified for ATEX/CID2 hazardous, EN 61000-6-2/-6-4 EMC, and DNV-GL marine.
With 8K MAC table, 256 IGMP groups, 2 Mbit buffer, and a 5-year warranty, the EDS-516A-MM-SC-T is a dependable fibre-enabled managed switch for demanding environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
