The EDS-G4012-8P-4QGS-LVA-T is the wide-temperature version of the LVA model, designed for deployment in harsh outdoor or industrial environments. Operating from -40 to 75°C, it provides 8x PoE ports supporting IEEE 802.3bt (up to 90 W per port, 240 W total budget) plus 4x 2.5G SFP uplinks for high-speed backbones.
This model supports redundant dual 24/48 VDC inputs, ensuring reliable service during power feed interruptions. Rugged IP40 housing, with options for DIN-rail or wall mounting, ensures a robust installation in demanding environments.
Security is built in with IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 compliance, including IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, ACLs, and SNMPv3. Redundancy features include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<50 ms recovery), as well as RSTP/STP.
Traffic management features include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and link aggregation, enabling efficient and predictable traffic flows. Management is supported via CLI, Telnet, web interface, MXstudio, or ABC-02 backup tools.
With wide-temperature operation, dual LV redundancy, and robust PoE+ power delivery, the EDS-G4012-8P-4QGS-LVA-T is ideal for smart city, transportation, and automation projects that require secure and reliable Gigabit networking with high-power PoE.
