The EDS-G4012-8P-4QGS-LVB is a managed PoE switch featuring 8x 802.3bt PoE ports, each delivering up to 90 W (with a total budget of 240 W), and 4x 2.5G SFP uplinks for high-speed fibre backbones. It is optimised for powering demanding edge devices such as PTZ cameras, APs, and industrial controllers.

This version supports dual 48 VDC redundant inputs, ensuring reliable power resilience in industrial environments. Operating temperature is -10 to 60°C, and the switch is housed in an IP40 DIN-rail or wall-mountable enclosure.

Cybersecurity is embedded, with IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 compliance, as well as support for IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, ACLs, and SNMPv3. Resiliency features include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<50 ms recovery at 250 switches), as well as RSTP/STP.

Advanced traffic management features include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping/querier, and LACP link aggregation. Industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP simplify integration.

With high PoE power, dual 48 VDC inputs, and advanced redundancy, the EDS-G4012-8P-4QGS-LVB is ideal for automation, ITS, and smart surveillance applications that require secure, high-bandwidth, and high-power networking.
