The EDS-G4012-8P-4QGS-LVA is a compact, full-Gigabit managed PoE switch that provides 8x IEEE 802.3bt PoE ports and 4x 2.5G SFP uplinks. Each PoE port delivers up to 90 W, with a total budget of 240 W, making the switch ideal for powering high-demand devices such as PTZ cameras, wireless access points, and industrial IoT controllers.
With dual 24/48 VDC power inputs, the switch offers redundant low-voltage supply support for high availability. Operating from -10 to 60°C, it is housed in a DIN-rail or wall-mountable IP40 metal case.
Certified to IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards, the switch provides a secure platform for critical networks. Security features include IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMPv3, SSH, HTTPS, ACLs, and broadcast storm control. Redundancy mechanisms include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<50 ms recovery across 250 switches) plus standards-based RSTP/STP.
Traffic management tools include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping/querier, and LACP link aggregation, ensuring predictable and efficient communication. Operators can configure and monitor the device using the CLI, web interface, Telnet, MXstudio, or ABC-02 backup tools.
With its PoE capability, 2.5G uplinks, dual LV inputs, and embedded cybersecurity, the EDS-G4012-8P-4QGS-LVA is an excellent choice for surveillance, ITS, and automation systems requiring both high power and high bandwidth.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
