The Advantech MIC-712P-OX3A1 is an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB edge AI computer supplied with JetPack 6.2 and a pre-installed 128GB NVMe SSD. It is designed for machine vision, intelligent surveillance, mobile equipment and other edge AI applications that require accelerated NVIDIA computing alongside multiple PoE camera connections. Its compact 160 x 160 x 70mm design allows significant AI and networking capability to be integrated into space-constrained systems while retaining industrial power, environmental and expansion features.
The 8GB Jetson Orin NX module features a 6-core NVIDIA Arm Cortex-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU and 8GB LPDDR5 memory. A 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores provides the accelerated processing capability required for AI inference and computer vision. NVIDIA Super Mode is supported across the MIC-712P-OX ordering configurations, enabling the platform to take advantage of increased AI performance where the application and thermal configuration allow.
Six Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports provide direct network and power connectivity for compatible cameras and other PoE devices. Each interface supports up to 30W and can be individually controlled, with a total power budget of 150W across the six ports. Two additional Gigabit Ethernet interfaces provide further network connectivity for uplinks, control networks or other connected equipment.
The MIC-712P-OX3A1 also offers HDMI output supporting 4K resolution at 60Hz and four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports for high-speed peripheral connectivity. Expansion includes an M.2 2230 E-key interface, M.2 3052 B-key slot, nano-SIM and optional eSIM support. An optional TPM 2.0 module can be fitted where hardware-based security is required.
Storage is provided by the pre-installed 128GB NVMe SSD using the system's PCIe x4 M.2 2280 interface, with Micro SD also available for additional removable storage. JetPack 6.2 is installed as part of the OX3A1 configuration, making this variant a practical choice for customers seeking an 8GB Orin NX platform with storage and software already provisioned. The 19 to 36VDC input, wide-temperature support and integrated out-of-band management further enhance its suitability for industrial edge deployments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
