The Advantech MIC-712P-OX4A1 is a compact edge AI computer featuring the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB module, pre-installed JetPack 6.2 and a 128GB NVMe SSD. Designed for demanding AI vision, safety, security and mobile equipment applications, it combines NVIDIA GPU acceleration with extensive Ethernet and PoE connectivity in a compact industrial chassis. With its combination of pre-installed software and storage, the OX4A1 provides a more deployment-ready configuration for projects requiring a high-memory Jetson Orin NX platform.
The 16GB NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module incorporates an 8-core NVIDIA Arm Cortex-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU and 16GB LPDDR5 memory. AI and graphics acceleration are provided by a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores. The platform also supports NVIDIA Super Mode, with Advantech specifying processing capability of up to 157 TOPS, providing the compute resources required for advanced inference, object detection, video analytics and multi-camera vision workloads.
A major feature of the MIC-712P-OX4A1 is its integrated network connectivity. Two standard Gigabit Ethernet interfaces are complemented by six additional Gigabit PoE ports. Each PoE interface supports up to 30W with individual control, while the platform provides a total PoE power budget of 150W. This allows multiple compatible network cameras to be powered and connected directly to the edge computer, reducing the requirement for separate PoE infrastructure in suitable applications.
Peripheral connectivity includes four USB 3.2 Gen2 interfaces and HDMI video output supporting up to 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz. M.2 E-key and B-key interfaces support additional wireless and communications modules, while nano-SIM and optional eSIM support provide further flexibility for mobile network integration. Optional TPM 2.0 support is also available.
The OX4A1 is supplied with a 128GB NVMe SSD installed in its PCIe x4 M.2 2280 slot and JetPack 6.2 pre-installed, helping simplify initial deployment. The system accepts 19 to 36VDC input and supports wide-temperature operation subject to power mode and airflow. Integrated out-of-band management, compact dimensions and robust shock and vibration specifications further support installation in industrial and mobile edge AI systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
