The Advantech PPC-421W is a 21.5-inch fanless industrial panel PC designed for HMI, machine control, factory automation and other industrial computing applications requiring a large-format touchscreen interface, flexible expansion and modern processor performance. Based on 13th Generation Intel Core technology, the platform is available with Intel Core i3-1315URE, Core i5-1345URE and Core i7-1365URE processors, allowing the system to be configured around the performance requirements of individual applications. Its fanless system design helps reduce mechanical maintenance while supporting reliable operation in industrial environments.
The PPC-421W integrates a 21.5-inch Full HD TFT LCD with a native 1920 x 1080 resolution, 350cd/m² luminance and wide viewing angles. Its true-flat projected capacitive touchscreen supports multi-touch operation and includes an anti-glare coating, providing an intuitive interface for industrial operators. The front panel is IP66 compliant for increased protection against dust and water ingress when correctly installed, while the die-cast aluminium alloy front bezel adds mechanical durability. Panel mounting and VESA 75/100 mounting are both supported.
Two DDR5 4800 SODIMM sockets support up to 32GB per slot, providing a maximum memory capacity of 64GB. Storage flexibility is a particular strength of the PPC-421W, with two 2.5-inch SATA bays and an M.2 2242/2280 M-Key interface supporting SATA or NVMe PCIe x4 storage. PCIe x4 expansion is provided for fieldbus or proprietary cards, with PCI available as an optional configuration. An M.2 2230 E-Key slot can also accommodate wireless connectivity.
Integrated communications include dual Intel I226LM Ethernet controllers supporting speeds up to 2.5GbE and Time-Sensitive Networking functionality. Additional I/O includes three USB 3.2 ports, USB 2.0, HDMI, DisplayPort and multiple serial interfaces, including an isolated RS-422/485 connection. The platform also supports three independent displays, TPM 2.0 hardware security and a wide 9-32VDC input.
With a -20°C to +60°C operating temperature range, industrial shock and vibration specifications and support for Windows and Linux operating systems, the PPC-421W provides a versatile large-screen HMI platform for demanding industrial automation applications.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
