The TN-5518A-8PoE-2GTX-WV-T is a managed EN 50155 Ethernet switch featuring 18 ports, including 8 PoE Fast Ethernet ports (30 W per port, totalling 240 W), 2 Gigabit copper uplinks, and eight additional Fast Ethernet ports.
It supports dual 24–110 VDC redundant inputs, ensuring continuous operation in the event of a power failure. The rugged IP54 housing and vibration-proof M12 connectors provide resilience against shock and vibration. With a wide-temperature operation range of -40 to 75°C and full compliance with EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2, it is certified for use in rolling stock.
Resiliency is assured by Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy (<20 ms recovery) plus RSTP and MSTP. Advanced security includes IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, HTTPS, SSH, and SNMPv3. VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP aggregation provide predictable traffic handling.
The TN-5518A-8PoE-2GTX-WV-T is an ideal solution for railway operators requiring integrated PoE power, Gigabit uplinks, and wide-temperature resilience in a compact, ruggedised housing.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
