The TN-5518A-8PoE-2GTXBP-WV-T is a managed EN 50155 Ethernet switch featuring 18 ports, including 8 PoE Fast Ethernet ports (30 W per port, 240 W total), 2 Gigabit copper uplinks with bypass relays, and 8 Fast Ethernet ports. Bypass functionality ensures uninterrupted connectivity even in the event of power loss.
Dual isolated 24–110 VDC redundant power inputs guarantee resilience. Its rugged IP54-rated housing with M12 connectors resists shock, vibration, and EMI, while wide -40 to 75°C operation supports deployment in harsh climates.
Certified to EN 50155, EN 50121-4, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, and EN 45545-2 fire protection, it meets stringent railway standards.
Resiliency features include Turbo Ring/Chain redundancy (<20 ms recovery), RSTP, and MSTP. Security functions include IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS, SSH, ACLs, and SNMPv3. VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and link aggregation provide reliable traffic handling.
The TN-5518A-8PoE-2GTXBP-WV-T is designed for rolling stock operators needing reliable Gigabit uplinks, PoE device power, and bypass relay resilience.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
