The AIMB-279 B1 is a Mini-ITX industrial motherboard designed for compact embedded systems that require modern Intel Core processor support, flexible display output and rich onboard expansion in a 170 mm x 170 mm form factor. Built for 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors, as well as Intel Core 200S processors, the board supports CPU options up to 24 cores, making it suitable for industrial PCs, machine vision systems, edge computing, automation, digital signage, kiosks, control systems and compact workstation-style embedded builds.
The board is available with Intel Q670E or H610E chipset options, allowing users to match the platform to the required level of functionality and budget. Memory support includes dual-channel DDR5 non-ECC SODIMM up to 5600 MHz, with capacity up to 96GB across two 262-pin sockets. This gives the AIMB-279 B1 enough memory headroom for modern operating systems, industrial software, data handling and multi-display applications.
Graphics are driven by Intel UHD Graphics based on Xe architecture. Display support includes HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4a, and internal LVDS or eDP depending on model and BOM configuration. Q670E models can support up to four independent displays, making the board well suited to HMI, monitoring, signage and visual control applications.
Expansion includes one PCIe x16 Gen4 slot for a discrete GPU, storage controller or add-in card, plus one M.2 M-Key 2242 socket for storage and one M.2 E-Key 2230 socket for wireless connectivity. Additional I/O includes dual LAN with one GbE and one 2.5GbE controller, two SATA III ports, four USB 3.2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two serial ports, 8-bit GPIO, watchdog timer, audio and 12V to 24V power input via ATX 8-pin and 5VSB header. With WISE-DeviceOn and embedded software API support, the AIMB-279 B1 is a flexible Mini-ITX platform for current-generation industrial embedded systems.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
