The Moxa DA-920E Series is a fanless 2U rackmount industrial server designed for demanding power automation, substation, railway and industrial computing applications. Built around the eight-core Intel Xeon D-1834 processor, the platform is designed to provide reliable computing for virtualised protection, automation and control applications while meeting the environmental and EMC requirements associated with critical infrastructure.
Four DDR4 RDIMM/UDIMM slots support up to 256GB of ECC memory, with each slot accommodating up to 64GB at speeds of up to 2666 MHz. Storage options include four 2.5-inch SATA SSD bays with Intel RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support, plus an M.2 M-key 2280 socket providing NVMe PCIe Gen 3 x2 connectivity.
Network connectivity includes three 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps Ethernet ports and two additional 10/100/1000 Mbps ports, including a dedicated management LAN. Out-of-band management is provided through the integrated BMC, supporting IPMI, Redfish and a web interface. Two software-selectable and 2 kV isolated RS-232/422/485 serial ports are also available for integration with industrial and legacy equipment.
Expansion capability includes one PCIe Gen 4 x16, one PCIe Gen 3 x8 and one PCIe Gen 3 x4 low-profile slot. Four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are provided, while DisplayPort and HDMI interfaces support local display connectivity. Security functionality includes TPM 2.0 and UEFI Secure Boot.
The DA-920E uses hot-swappable modular power supplies, with configurations supporting either 100 to 240 VAC/VDC or 24 to 110 VDC input. Single and dual-power-module configurations are available according to the required power architecture.
Designed for operation from -25 to 55°C, the DA-920E complies with IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 and IEC 60255 for power automation applications and EN 50121-4 for railway wayside environments. The IP20-rated metal chassis measures 440 x 330 x 88 mm and is designed for standard 19-inch rack installation.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
