The EDS-2016-ML-MM-SC combines copper and fibre connectivity in one rugged unmanaged switch, making it ideal for applications that need both local device access and extended fibre runs. With fourteen 10/100 RJ45 copper ports and two 100BaseFX multi-mode SC fibre ports, it allows you to link distant nodes up to 4 km away while supporting a wide range of Ethernet devices locally.
Compact and DIN-rail mountable, the IP30-rated metal housing ensures durability in demanding environments. DIP switches on the front panel make it easy to enable QoS and BSP to stabilise heavy traffic, while the built-in relay output provides fault alarms for power and port issues, improving uptime monitoring.
Power resilience is built in, with redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs, overload current protection, and reverse polarity safeguards. EMC-hardened design ensures resistance to interference in electrically noisy industrial environments.
Operating from -10°C to +60°C, the EDS-2016-ML-MM-SC is well-suited for use in process automation, factory floors, or industrial monitoring applications that need a simple way to integrate fibre backbones with copper endpoints. Burn-in tested and backed by a 5-year warranty, it delivers long-term service life in mission-critical environments.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
