The EDS-2016-ML-SS-SC-T delivers the same long-distance fibre capability as the standard SC single-mode model, but with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. With fourteen RJ45 ports and two 100BaseFX single-mode SC fibre ports, it supports extended fibre connections for up to 40–80 km depending on transceivers and cable type.
Designed for deployment in harsh environments, this unmanaged switch features redundant dual DC power inputs, overload and reverse polarity protection, and high EMI/EMC immunity. A rugged IP30 metal enclosure and compact DIN-rail design make it easy to integrate into outdoor cabinets and industrial systems.
QoS and BSP can be enabled with DIP switches, while a relay output provides real-time fault alerts for power and port-break issues. Its robust design and extended temperature range make it ideal for transport systems, utilities, and energy-sector applications that demand reliable, long-range fibre connectivity.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
