The PT-508-MM-SC-24 is an EN 61850-3/IEEE 1613 compliant managed switch, featuring six copper ports and two multi-mode SC fibre ports, which support fibre backbones of up to 4 km. Designed for substation automation, it supports resilient architectures through Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery) and RSTP/MSTP.
Dual isolated 24 VDC power inputs allow redundant feeds for uninterrupted operation. The switch withstands EMI, surges, and vibration, and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 85°C, making it suitable for harsh utility and industrial environments.
Advanced management includes VLANs, quality of service, IGMP snooping, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, and RMON. Security features include IEEE 802.1X, SSH, HTTPS, and TACACS+. Configuration is flexible with web, CLI, Telnet, Windows utility, and ABC-01/02 backup tools.
The PT-508-MM-SC-24's compact DIN-rail or wall mounting design makes installation easy, while its hardened mechanics and fibre connectivity deliver a dependable solution for critical power distribution and substation networks.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
