The PT-508-MM-LC-HV is a managed 8-port Ethernet switch featuring six copper and two single-mode LC fibre ports, designed for high-reliability substation communication. Fibre backbones extend up to 4 km, ideal for linking substation bays or connecting distributed IEDs.
It is certified to IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, offering immunity to EMI, surges, and vibration. Resiliency protocols include Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), as well as STP/RSTP/MSTP for flexible redundancy.
The HV model supports dual isolated universal 110/220 VDC/VAC power inputs, providing redundant supply resilience for substation power architectures. Security and traffic management functions include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1X, SSH, HTTPS, and SNMPv3. Configuration is simple via web browser, CLI, Telnet, or ABC-01/02 backup devices.
With rugged operation from -40 to 85°C and compact DIN-rail/wall mounting, the PT-508-MM-LC-HV delivers reliable, standards-compliant Ethernet with fibre resilience and high-voltage redundant power for critical power automation systems.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
