The PT-508-MM-ST-HV is a hardened, 8-port managed Fast Ethernet switch designed for substation environments that require universal high-voltage power. It provides 6x 10/100Base-T(X) copper ports and 2x 100Base-FX multi-mode ST fibre ports, extending communication distances up to 4 km.
With IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certification, the switch withstands EMI, surges, and vibration. It supports Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery across 250 switches), along with RSTP/MSTP, for a flexible redundancy design.
Dual isolated 110/220 VDC/VAC power inputs enable resilient supply configurations for substation automation systems. Operation is guaranteed from -40 to 85°C, ensuring dependable service in harsh climates.
The PT-508-MM-ST-HV supports VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and RMON for traffic control and monitoring. Security measures include IEEE 802.1X, SSH, HTTPS, SNMPv3, and RADIUS/TACACS+. Management is supported by web, CLI, Telnet, Windows utility, and ABC-01/02 backup configurators.
DIN-rail and wall-mounting support simplify installation. The PT-508-MM-ST-HV is an excellent choice for extending substation Ethernet networks with ST fibre while ensuring high-voltage redundant power resilience.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
