The VPort 07-3M42M is a compact 3-megapixel dome IP camera designed for 12/24 VDC mobile surveillance applications that need a built-in microphone and a more focused 4.2 mm lens. Its 82 degree diagonal field of view makes it a good choice for applications where a very wide image is not required, but practical coverage of doors, corridors, passenger areas, equipment zones or vehicle interiors is still needed.
The camera uses a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports up to 2048 x 1536 resolution at 20 fps, or 1920 x 1080 at up to 30 fps. H.265, H.264 and MJPEG compression are supported, allowing users to balance storage, bandwidth and image quality. Up to four independent streams can be configured, making the camera suitable for systems that need simultaneous high-quality recording, live viewing and remote access.
Built-in audio capture removes the need for a separate microphone in applications where sound from the camera location is acceptable. The model uses 12/24 VDC power through a DB9 connector and network connectivity through a rugged M12 Ethernet interface. This makes it suitable for installations where DC power is already available and PoE is not required.
Image features include DynaStream, CBR Pro, digital noise reduction, wide dynamic range, image rotation, privacy masking, timestamp and text overlay, manual image tuning and lens distortion correction. The physical design includes IP66 dust and water protection, IK8 vandal resistance, metal housing, PC dome cover and a built-in heater for dome demisting. With ONVIF Profile S, T and M support, Secure Boot, HTTPS, SSH, IP filtering and password protection, the VPort 07-3M42M is a rugged DC-powered surveillance camera for -40°C to 55°C environments.
