The 65M-4820-CT-T is an 8-channel analogue output module for ioPAC 6500 Series 65M modular controller systems. It is designed for applications that need to generate voltage or current control signals from an ioPAC 6500 platform, making it suitable for driving actuators, control valves, variable speed drives, positioners, instrumentation and other analogue-controlled field devices.
This module supports both voltage and current output modes. Output ranges include 0 to 10 V, 1 to 5 V, 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA, allowing it to support a wide range of industrial control applications. It provides 16-bit converter resolution, with output resolution of 1 mV for 0 to 10 V, 0.4 mV for 1 to 5 V, 2 microamps for 0 to 20 mA and 1.6 microamps for 4 to 20 mA. Accuracy is specified as ±0.1% full scale range at 25°C and ±0.3% full scale range from -40°C to 75°C.
The module has an output refresh time of 16 ms. Output impedance is listed as a minimum of 1 kiloohm in voltage mode and a maximum of 750 ohms in current mode. Diagnostic functions include output short-circuit detection in voltage mode, output wire-break detection in current mode and failsafe configuration with hold-last or failsafe state options. These functions are useful in process control and remote automation systems where predictable output behaviour is important during fault conditions.
The 65M-4820-CT-T provides 3 kVDC isolation between signal and system, plus 1 kVDC group isolation. It supports the ioPAC 6500 platform’s tool-free installation, hot-swap design and error-proof terminal block matching. The compatible terminal block is 65M-TB-4820-CT-T, sold separately. With conformal coating support and -40°C to 75°C operation, it is a dependable analogue output module for harsh industrial control environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
