The 65M-BMCM02-CT-T is a two-slot communication backplane module for ioPAC 6500 Series modular Intelligent Integrated Node controller systems. It supports two communication modules, making it suitable for applications that require multiple communication interfaces or a more flexible network architecture within the same ioPAC 6500 platform.
This model is designed for industrial systems where communication flexibility is important, such as remote terminal units, infrastructure monitoring, utility automation, transport control, distributed I/O systems and industrial data acquisition. By providing two communication module slots, the 65M-BMCM02-CT-T helps users create more capable controller configurations without moving away from the ioPAC 6500 modular system.
The ioPAC 6500 backplane concept is built around easy installation and long-term serviceability. The series supports tool-free hardware installation and hot-swap design, helping improve operational efficiency when modules need to be installed, replaced or maintained. The 65M-BMCM02-CT-T also benefits from the 2 x 2 pin grid design, which helps prevent installation mistakes and supports the defined assembly sequence of PWR, COM, CPU, EXP and IO.
The module uses a plastic housing and measures 86 x 177 x 45.5 mm. It weighs 330 g and is suitable for DIN-rail mounting, with rack mounting available using an optional kit. This allows the same module to be used in control cabinet, panel or rack-based installations depending on the project layout.
The 65M-BMCM02-CT-T supports conformal coating and operates from -40°C to +75°C. Proper airflow is required above 65°C, which should be considered during enclosure design. With EMC, safety, shock and vibration certifications listed for the series, this module provides a rugged and flexible base for dual communication module configurations in ioPAC 6500 deployments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
