The 65M-BMCPU02-CT-T is a two-slot CPU backplane module for the ioPAC 6500 Series modular controller platform. It is designed to support two CPU modules, making it suitable for ioPAC 6500 systems that require additional CPU module capacity within a modular Intelligent Integrated Node configuration. This makes it relevant for larger industrial control systems, distributed automation projects and remote monitoring installations that need a more capable system architecture.
As part of the ioPAC 6500 Series backplane range, this model helps users build a complete modular controller by combining power, communication, CPU, expansion and I/O modules. The wider system is designed for flexible deployment while reducing installation effort, using a modular mechanical structure that can be expanded or adjusted based on project requirements.
The 65M-BMCPU02-CT-T supports the platform’s tool-free installation and hot-swap design, helping maintenance teams replace or adjust modules more efficiently. The 2 x 2 pin grid design helps reduce the chance of incorrect installation, while the defined module order of PWR, COM, CPU, EXP and IO supports consistent assembly. These design features are especially valuable in field deployments where installation accuracy and serviceability directly affect system uptime.
Physically, this module uses a plastic housing and measures 86 x 177 x 45.5 mm. It weighs 325 g and supports DIN-rail mounting as standard, with rack mounting available using an optional kit. This gives system designers flexibility when integrating the ioPAC 6500 platform into cabinets, panels or rack-based control systems.
The 65M-BMCPU02-CT-T supports conformal coating and operates from -40°C to 75°C, with proper airflow required for environments above 65°C. Supported by the series’ EMC, safety, shock and vibration standards, it provides a robust backplane option for dual CPU module configurations.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
