The 65M-BMIO04-CT-T is a four-slot I/O backplane module for ioPAC 6500 Series modular controller systems. It provides four slots for I/O modules, making it the higher-density I/O backplane option listed in the datasheet. This makes it suitable for applications that need more field signal connectivity while retaining the modular architecture of the ioPAC 6500 platform.
This module is well suited to remote I/O, process monitoring, utility automation, transport systems, energy applications and industrial control projects where multiple I/O modules are needed in a single controller assembly. By supporting four I/O module positions, the 65M-BMIO04-CT-T allows users to build more capable signal acquisition or control configurations without requiring separate controller platforms.
The ioPAC 6500 Series uses a fully modular mechanical design that helps reduce installation effort and supports future expansion. The 65M-BMIO04-CT-T benefits from tool-free hardware installation and a hot-swap design, helping field engineers maintain or replace modules more efficiently. The 2 x 2 pin grid design helps prevent incorrect installation and supports the defined module order of PWR, COM, CPU, EXP and IO.
Physically, the 65M-BMIO04-CT-T is the widest backplane module in the listed range. It measures 172 x 177 x 45.5 mm and weighs 395 g. The datasheet lists power consumption for the 65M-BMIO04 as 0.117 A at 12 VDC. It uses a plastic housing and supports DIN-rail mounting, with optional rack mounting available.
The module supports conformal coating and is rated for -40°C to 75°C operation, with airflow required above 65°C. Supported by the series’ EMC, safety, shock and vibration standards, the 65M-BMIO04-CT-T is a strong choice for ioPAC 6500 systems requiring higher I/O module density.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
