The 65M-BMCM01-CT-T is a one-slot communication backplane module for the ioPAC 6500 Series modular controller platform. Designed to support a single communication module within an ioPAC 6500 Intelligent Integrated Node system, making it suitable for configurations where a single communication module is required to connect the controller to industrial networks or remote systems.
This module is part of the ioPAC 6500 Series backplane family, which enables users to build modular controller systems by combining power, communication, CPU, expansion and I/O modules. The platform is designed to reduce installation complexity through tool-free hardware assembly and a hot-swap design. This helps improve maintenance efficiency and supports easier replacement or reconfiguration in industrial environments.
The 65M-BMCM01-CT-T follows the ioPAC 6500 assembly concept, where modules are installed in the order PWR, COM, CPU, EXP and IO. The 2 x 2 pin grid design helps prevent incorrect installation, supporting a more reliable build process for field engineers and system integrators. This error-proofing is especially valuable where systems may be installed or maintained in remote locations, electrical cabinets or harsh industrial sites.
Physically, the 65M-BMCM01-CT-T has a plastic housing and measures 43 x 177 x 45.5 mm. It weighs 169 g and supports DIN-rail mounting as standard. Rack mounting is available using an optional kit, making the module suitable for both cabinet-based and rack-based ioPAC 6500 installations.
The module supports conformal coating and is rated for operation from -40°C to +75°C, with proper airflow required when the ambient temperature is above 65°C. With shock, vibration, EMC and safety standards listed for the series, the 65M-BMCM01-CT-T provides a dependable backplane position for one ioPAC 6500 communication module.
