The 65M-BMEXP01-CT-T is a one-slot expansion backplane module for the ioPAC 6500 Series modular Intelligent Integrated Node controller platform. It is designed to support one expansion module, making it suitable for controller configurations where a single expansion position is required to extend the system’s capabilities.
As part of the ioPAC 6500 backplane module family, the 65M-BMEXP01-CT-T helps users build modular RTU and controller systems by combining power, communication, CPU, expansion and I/O sections. This modular approach allows systems to be tailored to the requirements of industrial automation, remote monitoring, infrastructure, transport and utility applications. It also helps reduce the amount of unnecessary hardware in the final configuration.
The ioPAC 6500 Series is designed for efficient installation and maintenance. The 65M-BMEXP01-CT-T supports the platform’s tool-free hardware installation and hot-swap design, which can help reduce downtime when modules need to be changed or serviced. The 2 x 2 pin grid design helps prevent installation errors, while the defined assembly sequence of PWR, COM, CPU, EXP and IO supports consistent system build quality.
This model uses a plastic housing and measures 43 x 177 x 45.5 mm. It weighs 173 g and supports DIN-rail mounting as standard. Rack mounting is available with an optional kit, allowing the same module family to be used in control cabinets or rack-mounted system designs.
The 65M-BMEXP01-CT-T supports conformal coating and wide temperature operation from -40°C to 75°C. Proper airflow is required when operating above 65°C. With EMC, safety, shock and vibration standards listed for the range, this expansion backplane module is a robust option for single-expansion ioPAC 6500 configurations.
