The EDS-4009-3MSC-LV-T brings the features of the 3MSC platform to harsh environments. Six 10/100 copper ports pair with three 100Base-FX multi-mode SC ports for economical fibre runs up to 5 km. For uptime, Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain provide sub-20 ms recovery across 250 nodes, while RSTP/MSTP and LACP add standards-based redundancy and bandwidth aggregation.
Security meets IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 with HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC security. MXstudio delivers visualised deployment and troubleshooting; operators also get SNMPv1/v2c/v3, LLDP, RMON, syslog, SPAN/RSPAN and fibre diagnostics. EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET devices are supported for OT integration, and hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP handles time sync for substation and utility profiles.
Performance resources include 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs and IGMP snooping/querier. Power is provided by a redundant dual 9.6–60 VDC supply with overload and reverse-polarity protection. The compact IP40 metal enclosure supports DIN-rail or wall mounting and is specified for operation between -40°C and 75°C, making it suitable for exposed cabinets and wayside locations. Compliance includes EN 50121-4, IEC 61850-3 / IEEE 1613, plus maritime and hazardous-location ratings available on LV models.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
