For long-haul fibre and extreme climates, the EDS-4009-3SSC-HV-T delivers three 100Base-FX SM SC ports (typical 40 km) alongside six 10/100 copper ports. Sub-20 ms recovery via Turbo Ring/Chain and standards-based RSTP/MSTP/LACP helps maintain availability. Use optical attenuation where required by the link budget.
Security is IEC 62443-4-2 SL2, featuring HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC policies. MXstudio integration and SNMP/LLDP/RMON/syslog/port mirror/fibre check support efficient operations. OT protocol support includes EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device; hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP ensures accurate timing.
The switch offers 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs and IGMP snooping/querier. Power is single-input HV (88–300 VDC, 85–264 VAC). The robust IP40 metal housing operates from -40 to 75°C and supports DIN-rail or wall mounting, suiting exposed substations and wayside cabinets.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
