The EDS-4009-3SSC-LV-T delivers single-mode fibre reach for long lineside runs and distant cabinets, with three 100Base-FX SM SC ports (typical 40 km) plus six 10/100 copper ports. Network resilience is ensured with Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms), RSTP/MSTP and LACP. Where optical budgets are tight or transmit power is high, external attenuation may be required.
IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 certification underpins secure operation with HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC protections. MXstudio and a complete toolset (SNMP/LLDP/RMON/syslog/port mirroring, fibre check) simplify operations. OT interoperability includes EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device; hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP supports precise timing.
Specs include 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs and IGMP snooping/querier. The power supply features redundant dual 9.6–60 VDC, and the IP40 metal housing operates within a temperature range of -40 to 75°C. Rail and substation approvals apply, with maritime and hazardous-location options for LV units.
