The EDS-4009-3MST-LV-T offers ST multi-mode fibre and wide-temperature performance for cabinet-constrained sites. It features six 10/100 copper ports and three 100Base-FX multi-mode ST ports (typical 4 km reach), with millisecond recovery via Turbo Ring/Chain and added protection from RSTP/MSTP and LACP.
IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 certification underpins security, complemented by HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm suppression and MAC lockdown. MXstudio and SNMP/LLDP/RMON/syslog/port-mirror tooling streamline operations; fibre check assists optical troubleshooting. OT interoperability includes EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device, while hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP supports precise time sync.
With 16,000 MAC entries, a 1 MB buffer, jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs, and IGMP snooping/querier, the platform is well-suited for handling mixed traffic. Power is provided by redundant dual 9.6–60 VDC, and the IP40 metal enclosure is rated for temperatures ranging from -40 to 75°C. Approvals cover rail and substation profiles, with maritime and hazardous-location options on LV units.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
