The EDS-4009-3SSC-HV targets long-reach fibre deployments powered from high-voltage feeds. It combines six 10/100 copper ports with three 100Base-FX SM SC ports (typical 40 km at 1310 nm). Turbo Ring/Chain ensures sub-20 ms recovery, while RSTP/MSTP and LACP provide standards-based redundancy. External attenuators may be recommended where optical power is high.
Security aligns with IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 and includes HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC protections. MXstudio is supported alongside SNMP/LLDP/RMON/syslog/port mirroring and fibre diagnostics. The switch recognises EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device and supports hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP.
It offers 16,000 MAC entries, a 1 MB buffer, jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs, and IGMP snooping/querier. Power is single-input HV (operating 88–300 VDC, 85–264 VAC). The IP40 chassis mounts to DIN-rail or wall brackets and operates -10 to 60°C. Rail and substation certifications (EN 50121-4, IEC 61850-3 / IEEE 1613) suit utility and wayside sites.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
