The Moxa MGate MB3170-M-ST-G2 is a 1-port Modbus gateway with RS-232/422/485 serial and multi-mode ST fibre, designed for fibre-based industrial Ethernet networks that require dependable Modbus TCP to RTU/ASCII integration. It supports transparent mode and agent mode polling with cached values to reduce latency for SCADA reads.
This ST fibre variant is a practical choice for facilities standardised on ST connectors or where fibre helps overcome EMI and grounding challenges. It retains the same usability benefits as the wider MB3170-G2 platform, including web-based configuration and built-in diagnostics and traffic monitoring to accelerate commissioning and troubleshooting. Secure management is supported via HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
