The Moxa MGate MB3170-SFP-G2 is a 1-port Modbus gateway with RS-232/422/485 serial and an SFP fibre slot, giving you flexibility to choose the right transceiver for your distance and fibre type while integrating Modbus RTU/ASCII with Modbus TCP. It supports transparent conversion or agent mode polling with cached values for lower-latency SCADA reads.
This SFP variant suits industrial networks where link requirements vary by site, or where you want a consistent gateway model while selecting transceivers to match the installation. It also benefits from web-based configuration and built-in diagnostics and traffic monitoring tools, supporting faster troubleshooting and easier maintenance. HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3 support secure access and management.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
