The Moxa MGate MB3170-M-SC-G2-T is a wide-temperature 1-port Modbus gateway with RS-232/422/485 serial and multi-mode SC fibre, designed for harsh environments that also benefit from fibre’s noise immunity and long-run capability. It supports transparent conversion or agent mode polling and caching for improved SCADA performance.
This -T fibre variant fits outdoor enclosures, trackside cabinets and industrial sites where temperature extremes are expected and copper cabling is less suitable. Fibre simplifies grounding concerns and helps reduce EMI-related issues across longer network segments. Built-in web configuration, diagnostics and traffic monitoring support faster deployment and maintenance, while HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3 support secure management.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
