The Advantech MIC-712P-OX is a compact edge AI computer built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX platform and designed for safety, security and mobile equipment applications requiring accelerated AI processing and extensive camera connectivity. Its ultra-slim 160 x 160 x 70mm chassis combines embedded NVIDIA GPU computing with six PoE Ethernet interfaces, making the platform particularly well suited to machine vision, intelligent surveillance, video analytics and other edge AI applications where multiple network cameras need to be connected directly to the computing system.
The MIC-712P-OX is available with either 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 memory. The 16GB Jetson Orin NX module incorporates an 8-core NVIDIA Arm Cortex-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU, while the 8GB version provides a 6-core processor. Both configurations use a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere GPU with 32 Tensor Cores and support NVIDIA Super Mode, with Advantech specifying AI performance of up to 157 TOPS.
Networking includes two standard Gigabit Ethernet ports together with six Gigabit PoE interfaces. The PoE ports support up to 30W per connection, individual control and a combined 150W power budget, allowing compatible IP cameras and other powered devices to connect directly to the system. Display output is provided through HDMI with support for resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, while four USB 3.2 Gen2 interfaces provide high-speed peripheral connectivity. Dedicated Micro USB connections are also provided for debug console and OTG functions.
Expansion options include an M.2 2230 E-key slot, M.2 3052 B-key interface, nano-SIM slot and optional eSIM support, enabling wireless and mobile communications to be added where required. Storage is provided through an M.2 2280 PCIe x4 interface and Micro SD slot, with selected configurations supplied with a pre-installed 128GB NVMe SSD. Optional TPM 2.0 support adds hardware-based security functionality.
The MIC-712P-OX accepts a 19 to 36VDC input and supports operation from -25°C to +70°C in 25W mode with specified airflow. Integrated out-of-band management further supports remote system administration and maintenance, making the MIC-712P-OX a flexible edge AI platform for intelligent vision and connected industrial applications.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
