The ioPAC 6500 Series 65M I/O Modules are designed for modular ioPAC 6500 Intelligent Integrated Node controller systems, providing flexible signal connection options for industrial automation, remote monitoring, utility, transport and infrastructure applications. The range includes digital input, digital output, analogue input, analogue output, HART analogue input and serial communication modules, allowing users to build an I/O configuration around the exact requirements of their application.

As part of the wider ioPAC 6500 platform, these modules are intended to be combined with compatible backplane, power, communication, CPU, expansion and terminal block modules. The platform uses a fully modular mechanical design to support flexible deployment and reduce installation effort. This makes the 65M I/O module range suitable for systems that may need to scale over time, support different field signal types, or be maintained quickly in operational environments.

A key design feature of the 65M I/O range is its error-proof arrow-pin system. Each I/O module has a corresponding terminal block module with a unique arrow ID, helping prevent incorrect installation and reducing the risk of mismatched wiring during system build or maintenance. The datasheet also highlights tool-free hardware installation and hot-swap design, helping maximise operational efficiency when modules need to be replaced or serviced.

The range includes 32-channel digital input and output modules, 16-channel analogue current or voltage input modules, an 8-channel HART analogue input module, an 8-channel analogue output module and an 8-port serial module. The modules support isolation between signal and system, with selected models also offering group isolation. All listed I/O modules operate from -40°C to 75°C, with proper airflow required above 65°C. Terminal blocks are sold separately and should be selected to match the relevant I/O module.

RMA

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).

When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.

Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
