The Moxa MGate MB3170-G2 is a 1-port Modbus gateway with RS-232/422/485 serial and dual Ethernet ports, built to connect Modbus RTU/ASCII devices to Modbus TCP networks without changing existing control logic. It supports transparent conversion for straightforward integrations or agent mode, where the gateway polls and caches device data to reduce latency for SCADA reads.
This MB3170-G2 copper model suits control cabinets and factory networks where standard Ethernet is preferred and dual-port networking enables cascading or dual-subnet designs. It also includes practical commissioning and maintenance support through the web console and built-in diagnostics and monitoring tools, helping speed up troubleshooting in live environments. For secure management, it supports HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
