The Moxa DA-820E-C5-HH-T is designed for high-availability industrial and utility applications that need stronger compute capability and greater power resilience. Featuring an Intel Core i5-1340PE processor and 2x DA-PWR-150-HV hot-swappable high-voltage power modules, this model is well suited to substation automation servers, virtualised OT platforms, intelligent communications gateways, railway infrastructure systems, and critical monitoring deployments where uptime is central to the operation. The dual power-module design supports redundancy for 100V to 240V AC/DC installations, helping reduce the risk of unplanned interruption in demanding field environments.
This version retains the DA-820E platform’s broad industrial I/O and rugged mechanical design, enabling it to support both traditional automation tasks and more intensive software loads such as virtualisation. It provides 4x SSD bays, up to 64 GB DDR4 memory, 4x Gigabit LAN, dual serial ports, DI/DO connectivity, 2x HDMI outputs and 1 VGA, plus PCIe and proprietary expansion slots for network or serial add-ons. Security remains a core strength through TPM 2.0 and UEFI Secure Boot, while the fanless architecture helps improve reliability in dusty or maintenance-sensitive environments. For users in heavily regulated industries, the DA-820E-C5-HH-T is backed by certifications including IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, IEC 60255, EN 50121-4, IEC 62368-1, and UL 62368-1. Combined with a -40 to 70°C temperature range and IP30 metal enclosure, it is built for dependable performance in critical substations, trackside enclosures, and industrial control rooms.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
