The Moxa DA-820E-C7-L-T is a high-end 48V DC industrial rackmount computer designed for advanced edge computing in harsh environments. Powered by an Intel Core i7-1370PE processor and equipped with 1x DA-PWR-120-LV hot-swappable low-voltage power module, it is an excellent choice for virtualised SCADA, intelligent substation systems, industrial analytics, communications aggregation, rail infrastructure control, and data-intensive OT applications. Its combination of high compute performance and low-voltage DC power support makes it especially attractive for sites that need more software headroom while operating within established 48V DC infrastructure.
This model benefits from the same robust DA-820E architecture used across the full range. It includes up to 64 GB DDR4 memory, 4x hot-swappable 2.5-inch SSD slots, 4x Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2x serial ports, 6x DI, 2x DO, and PCIe expansion to support additional network, fibre, or serial functionality. These features allow it to serve as a capable platform for converged industrial workloads where communications, control, and compute performance must sit in one unit. Security is supported through TPM 2.0 and UEFI Secure Boot, while the fanless 3U chassis, IP30 metal enclosure, and -40 to 70°C operating temperature help ensure long-term reliability. For regulated infrastructure projects, certifications including IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613, IEC 60255, EN 50121-4, IEC 62368-1, and UL 62368-1 confirm its readiness for demanding utility and railway environments.
