The EDS-4012-4GS-LV-T pairs four 1G SFP uplinks with wide-temperature performance for exposed cabinets and outdoor enclosures. Eight 10/100 copper ports connect local endpoints, while four 100/1000 SFP slots provide fibre backhaul. Availability is ensured by Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms across 250 switches; < 50 ms when links are ≥ 1 Gbps) and interoperable RSTP/MSTP, MRP and LACP.
Security aligns with IEC 62443-4-2 SL2, including HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC protections. MXstudio enables visualised deployment and troubleshooting; further tooling includes SNMPv1/v2c/v3, LLDP, RMON, syslog, SPAN/RSPAN and fibre diagnostics. OT protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFINET Device) and hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP support deterministic operations and time sync.
Core resources: 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, up to 256 VLANs and IGMP snooping/querier. Power is redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC (9.6–60 VDC operating). The compact IP40 housing supports DIN-rail or wall mounting and runs from -40 to 75°C. Certifications include EN 50121-4 and IEC 61850-3 / IEEE 1613, with maritime and hazloc ratings available on LV SKUs.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
