For harsh sites needing high-power PoE, the EDS-4012-8P-4GS-LVA-T provides eight IEEE 802.3af/at/bt ports delivering up to 90 W per port with a total budget up to 240 W at 48 V input. Four 100/1000 SFP uplinks handle fibre backhaul. Resilience comes from Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms; < 50 ms at ≥ 1 Gbps), RSTP/MSTP, MRP and LACP.
Security is IEC 62443-4-2 SL2 with HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC security. MXstudio simplifies PoE policies, visualised configuration and diagnostics; SNMP/LLDP/RMON/syslog/port mirror and fibre check aid operations. The switch supports EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device; IEEE 1588v2 PTP (hardware-based) handles time sync.
Resources: 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, jumbo frames, four QoS queues, 256 VLANs, IGMP snooping/querier. Power is dual 48 VDC (operating 44–57 VDC; > 52 VDC recommended for PoE+). Rugged IP40 housing and -40 to 75°C operation suit exposed cabinets.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
