The EDS-4012-8P-4GS-LVA powers high-draw endpoints such as multi-sensor cameras and Wi-Fi 6 APs. Eight 10/100 PoE access ports support IEEE 802.3af/at/bt with up to 90 W per port, backed by a total PoE budget up to 240 W at 48 V input. Four 100/1000 SFP uplinks provide fibre backhaul. Availability is delivered by Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms; < 50 ms at ≥ 1 Gbps), plus RSTP/MSTP, MRP and LACP.
Security and operations meet IEC 62443-4-2 SL2, with HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC protections. MXstudio enables visualised deployment, PoE scheduling, and diagnostics; administrators also have access to SNMPv1/v2c/v3, LLDP, RMON, syslog, SPAN/RSPAN, and fibre check. Industrial protocol coverage includes EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device; hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP supports precise time sync.
Switch resources: 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs, IGMP snooping/querier. Power is redundant dual 48 VDC (operating 44–57 VDC; > 52 VDC recommended for PoE+ output). IP40 enclosure, DIN-rail/wall mounting, -10 to 60°C operation.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
