Designed for control rooms and substations with high-voltage feeds, the EDS-4012-4GS-HV combines eight 10/100 copper ports with four 100/1000 SFP uplinks for flexible fibre backhaul. Availability features include Turbo Ring/Chain (< 20 ms across 250 switches; < 50 ms for ≥ 1 Gbps links), plus RSTP/MSTP, MRP and LACP.
Security is IEC 62443-4-2 SL2, with HTTPS/SSH, 802.1X, ACLs, DHCP snooping, storm control and MAC protections. MXstudio support, along with SNMPv1/v2c/v3, LLDP, RMON, syslog, SPAN/RSPAN and fibre check, improves visibility and diagnostics. OT protocol coverage includes EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET Device; hardware-based IEEE 1588v2 PTP meets stringent time-sync profiles.
Resources: 16K MAC, 1 MB buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames, four quality of service queues, 256 VLANs and IGMP snooping/querier. Power is single-input high voltage (operating 88–300 VDC / 85–264 VAC). The IP40 enclosure supports DIN-rail/wall mounting and operates -10 to 60°C. Approvals include EN 50121-4 and IEC 61850-3 / IEEE 1613 for substation environments.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
